128/1273:திருக்குறள்:

மணியில் திகழ்தரு நூல்போல் மடந்தை

அணியில் திகழ்வதொன்று உண்டு.

பொருள்:

ஒளிவீசும் முத்து மாலையின் மணிகளுக்கு இடையே மறைவாக ஊடுருவித் தெரியும் நூலைப்போல, மென்மை மிக்க இத்தலைவியின் பேரழகிற்குள்ளே நுட்பமாகத் திகழும் மறைமுகக் குறிப்பு ஒன்று இருக்கின்றது.
