128/1280:திருக்குறள்:

பெண்ணினால் பெண்மை உடைத்தென்ப கண்ணினால்

காமநோய் சொல்லி இரவு.

பொருள்:

தன் காதலனிடம் வாய்திறந்து கூறாமல், தன் கண்களினாலேயே காமநோயை உணர்த்தி, அதனைத் தீர்க்குமாறு இரந்து நிற்பதானது, பெண்களின் இயல்பான பெண்மை குணத்தைக் காட்டிலும் மிகச் சிறந்த பெண்மை உடையது என்பர்.
