திருக்குறள்:

ஊடலின் தோற்றவர் வென்றார் அதுமன்னும்

கூடலில் காணப் படும்.

பொருள்:

காதலர்களிடையே நிகழும் ஊடலில் தோற்றுப் போனவரே உண்மையில் வெற்றி பெற்றவராவார்; அந்த உண்மை ஊடல் முடிந்து இருவரும் கூடும் புணர்ச்சி இன்பத்தின் போது தெளிவாக விளங்கும்.

விரிவாக்கம்:
